Check for the fit: Remember that children’s wetsuits should not be too small as it would be difficult for the wearer to move around. It should also not too loose because it will let the water and sand in, and it should be comfortable enough so it does not rub and keep rashes at bay.

Wetsuits come in an array of colours, styles and sizes, so you should be aware of which wetsuit you should be buying.

Check for thickness. Thick wetsuits at the extreme end of their cold are usually made from 7mm thick neoprene. It offers much less exposure to protection on deeper depths. Others may come in 3mm suitable for summer and 5mm for winter exposure wetsuits.

Check for the warmth. It is an important factor as they will be surfing or playing in the water for quite a long period of time.
Check for the seams, seams connect the panels of wetsuits. Generally speaking, more panels mean better flexibility.
